Plumbing training apprentices will be made aware of the opportunities available in the construction industry in the Netherlands at an industry conference next month.
Construction marketing expert Michael Holland, who is the managing director of PR consultancy Smye Holland Associates, will be one of the speakers at the Rotterdam event.
Hosted by The UK meets NL network - which was set up by English Services - the two-day conference, which aims to encourage British and Dutch companies to strengthen their trade links, will witness Mr Holland's speech on the market for construction goods and services in the UK.
He is expected to focus on the house building sector in particular, discussing opportunities to build schools and hospitals in the public sector and shops, leisure facilities and offices in the private sector.
It is also thought he will touch on the impetus for growth in the industry, as well as the increasing demand for energy-saving measures in houses.
