Over the past few years Gas Safe have been cracking down on people completing gas work without the proper training and qualifications. Doing this is illegal and could leave you with a hefty fine and even a jail sentence. Gas work can be extremely dangerous and can cause fires, explosions, carbon monoxide poisoning and is a danger to life. Therefore, it is so important to be trained and qualified as a Gas Engineer before you complete any gas work.
Just because you are a Plumber it doesn’t mean you have the skills and authority to carry out dangerous gas work and put lives at risk. We offer a variation of pathways to become Gas Safe, if you are a Qualified Plumber you are not required to come in as a ‘New Entrant’.
