Here at Able Skills, we hope everyone is staying safe and staying at home. Hopefully, if we all follow the rules we can get life back to some sort of normality soon. Also, get all our students back in centre to continue with their new careers and many more to start their training. Our carpentry courses are ready to go as soon as we can re-open and we want to assure you that we will do anything we can to make sure everyone gets the training and time they need to complete their training!

Whether your carpentry course was cut short or cancelled before it even began, we have got the plans in place to make sure we get everyone in to complete their training and achieve their qualifications. For those that are looking to retrain with us at Able Skills on our carpentry courses, we will have extra dates avaliable for full time and weekend courses to get you started on your new careers.

We offer such a wide range of Carpentry and Joinery courses here in our Dartford centre. We can assure you that we will find a course suitable for your needs. Whether you are looking to get some skills for DIY purposes or for a totally new career we can fix you up with the perfect course. From short courses to much longer City & Guilds and NVQ qualification courses there are endless opportunities to take into the industry.

You can gain a Carpentry NVQ with us with a course in centre followed by going out for your on-site assessments. We have NVQ assessors that will come to you on-site to complete these assessments which will enable you to gain a Carpentry NVQ. Without an NVQ you won’t get a CSCS Card and without one of those you will not gain work on-site in the UK.

Carpentry courses

Carpentry is a trade that can be taken across the world and are skills that will never leave you. We have had students come from across the world to train with us, including Chile, Canada, France and even Australia. They have all trained and successfully returned to their country to work as Carpenters or Joiners.

Woodworking is very detailed, and training correctly can make sure you are highly skilled in the trade. Here at Able Skills, we take our training courses very seriously and we strive to give every student to best possible training, so they can get started in their new career. With our carpentry courses we have spoke to many students over the years and we have found that a lot of them love the satisfaction they get from completing woodwork. We have seen many go onto have fantastic careers in the industry.
