Here at our training centre in Dartford, Kent we are back providing courses 7-days a week in all types of trades. Electrician courses are some of our most popular training programs and one course that all aspiring electricians need to engage with is our 18th Edition course. Having knowledge of the latest wiring regulations is essential for anybody working with electrical installations. Our course is 3-days long and taught in a classroom setting, focusing on gaining familiarity with the layout, content and the application in the workplace of the regulations...If you're looking to take on this course we have dates available in September and October this year!

What should I expect?
You should expect an intensive 3-days. There is a lot to cover, however, our instructors know these regulations back to front and have years of experience teaching students, they will aim to convey the information in an easy to understand manner. This course is entirely classroom-based, it introduces wiring regulations and covers their application through explanation and realistic, on the job examples.

How is it assessed?
If you are engaging with the course there is no reason not to successfully complete the assessment process. At the end of the 3-day course, you will be taking on a 2-hour multiple-choice, on-line examination. The exam is 'open book', meaning that you will be able to look up wiring regs and refer to the 18th edition book during the exam process. The exam is taken here at our centre in our dedicated assessment room.
How do I book this course?

Secondly, you are welcome to come and visit our centre we are open all week between 8:30 - 4:30 there's no need to book an appointment you can simply walk into our office and book a course. We have our own accommodation which is available on a room only basis and is located only 5 minutes from the Training Centre. The Accommodation is owned by Able Skills and will only ever be used by our students; the property also has a large car park so, for any of our visitors who are considering driving to us, vehicles can be left there quite safely.
