Tim is currently undergoing his City & Guilds Level 2 Electrical Course which runs for 7 weeks. Such course allows students to get a genuine insight into what the industry is really like as students are taught skills they can apply straight away. Undergoing both theoretical and practical tasks, students leave with a huge amount of knowledge and it's exactly this which is what Time wants to take away from his Electrician Training.

Why?

More specifically, Tim wants to apply such skills to his current role of being an offshore oil and gas well tester. Tim said he can see his job demanding more electrical skills for various parts and thinks the Level 2 Electrical Course will help him complete jobs to an ever higher standard.

He got into the job through a close friend who also works within that business and it has been Tim's only job for 7 years. One particular area he said he really enjoyed about the job was having the chance to travel all over the world. Tim told us he's worked in places like Australia, Africa and Asia!

What can you say about the facilities and teaching?

Tim told us that he thinks the whole set up of the course is very good and well set up. He stated it has everything he needs to achieve his goal and his teacher Brian is always ready and willing to offer any help he needs.

In each of our Electrical Centres, students can expect their own work bays and even a free CK Toolkit to give them the kick start they need when looking for work.

Would you come back for another course or even refer a friend?

Tim said he most definitely would as he is already booked in for his Level 3 Electrical Course! It's good to see that students recognise how great such Electrician Training is for career development and would certainly recommend any friends to the centre too!

In an attempt to try and catch Tim out, we asked him if he knew Able Skills had been running for nearly 2 decades to which he replied, 'no I had no idea!'

So here we have yet another student wanting to upskill within the world of electrics. The way the industry is going, it's no wonder as to why it's the case! It's if you would like to find out more about our Electrician Training, including all the Electrical Courses we offer, please click here!
