What Course Are You Doing & Why Able Skills?
“I am doing the Introduction to Plumbing Course. And I chose Able Skills for this course because back in 2008 I came to Able Skills for a short Plastering Course, this was my introduction to the training world. I soon realised after two days that it is amazing how much you can learn when you have high-quality instructors teaching you.”

“I looked online to see what was available and I knew I was interested in a Plumbing Course and I choose the Intro course. What attracted me the most was the fact that it ticked all of the boxes in terms of what I wanted to learn. In addition to this, the accommodation local to the centre was handy because I live in Jersey.

Able Skills has three properties that will provide you with your own room and washing facilities and a fully furnished kitchen that you will share with your fellow students. The accommodation costs just £20 per night so will be much more cost-effective than a hotel for example. Because we are such a busy training centre we would recommend that when you book your course you also enquire about accommodation so that you can guarantee your spot.
Why Did You Want To Do This Course?
“Initially it was because no tradesmen could come and do work during the pandemic but when they were allowed, the demand was so high that you couldn’t get anyone. I thought that having the skills for myself would be a good idea.”

If you choose to complete a course like our Introduction To Plumbing you will have all the basic skills and knowledge to be able to complete your own small tasks around the home. What Is Your End Goal With This Training?
“I want to know how to work around Plumbing Problems at home. I also have a few Bathrooms that need some attention and hopefully now after this course, I will be able to do all of this work myself.”
