The Advanced Domestic Installer Course With Jayne Meadows!

domestic installer Jayne On Her Advanced Domestic Electrical Installer Course

Jayne Meadows (pictured above) is the latest student to begin The Advanced Domestic Electrical Installer Course! Today marks the end of her first week and we thought it would be a good idea to catch up with her and find out a bit more about her previous Bronze Restoration Business and what brought her to the world of electrics!

In what seems to be a fascinating business when speaking with Jayne, we discovered that she has worked for some pretty famous people including a football manager and another celebrity we will reveal further on in the article! But before we tell all, let's find out a bit more about Jayne and what she's achieved prior to this course..

So What Were You Doing Before?

Well I was initially a computer programmer in the city before taking over my dad's bronze restoration business. I've worked on various bits of work all around the world and you've probably seen the bronze statues I've helped build and maintain across London. There's a lot of demand for it and I've even done work for Cardiff Football Manager Neil Warnock and for an actor in Peaky Blinders.

So Why This Course?

Well the bronze restoration business keeps me going 6/7 days a week working long hours and even though business is good, it keeps me away from my son.  I'm now looking to do something that allows me to make money and be a mum at the same time. Something like The Advanced Domestic Electrical Installer Course will allow me to do this and slowly get out of the bronze business.

How Are You Finding It So Far?

Well I've been here one week and so far so good! I'm learning a lot, the teaching is great and the facilities are fantastic! I'm looking forward to next week when I'll be learning even more.

Would You Do Another Course And What Are Your Plans After?

domestic installer Able Skills Electrical Courses and Electrician Training Are Both City & Guilds Accredited

Yes I'm interested in the City & Guilds Level 2 Electrical Course which I might do after some experience with domestic installation in the real world. I've actually got a few jobs lined up already as a few of my friends need some work done! My main aim is to get as much private work as I can and then I'll go from there!

It's safe to say bronze restoration to domestic electrical installation is certainly an interesting change of careers. We wish Jayne all the best for the future and hopefully she keeps in touch to let us know how her work goes with an actor from Peaky Blinders!
