He suggested that tiling in the bathroom and kitchen could be extremely beneficial and added that "ceramic mosaic tile sheets can make a huge difference".
In addition, workers who have taken electrician training courses could benefit from Mr Knox's advice too, as he stated that a change in lighting could also increase house prices.
He encouraged homeowners to take out their "old, ugly fixtures" and have them replaced by some new ones "for an instantly more modern look".
