Able Skills Plumbing Courses are City & Guilds accredited

Please note that this isn't a training course for anyone reading this that is new to the trade. It is simply an assessment process which takes place wherever you are undertaking plumbing work.

There are two different routes to achieving your NVQ:

  • The experienced Plumber WITH qualifications
  • The experienced Plumber WITHOUT qualifications

The Experienced Worker without qualifications route will require you to:

  • Undertake study at home to prepare you for the online exams in centre
  • Undertake practical assessments in centre
  • To have work-based assessments completed

Naturally, the next step for a lot of qualified plumbers is of course becoming a Gas Safe Registered Engineer. By undergoing Plumbing Courses, you automatically qualify for the 5 week Qualified Plumber Gas Training Course that places students on the right path to registering with Gas Safe. Please take note of the various routes we offer which include ACS Exams (essential for becoming Gas Safe Registered) and even a chance to complete your Gas Portfolio.
