Instarmac could hardly have hoped for a better endorsement of its Ultra Tile adhesive range and Ultra Floor preparations than to have the Yorkshire showroom of renowned retailer, Ceramic Tile Merchants, fitted out using the products.
The fit-out of the Beverly showroom opened in the summer and has put Instarmac brands front and centre, with horizontal and vertical displays fixed with Ultra Tile materials and Ultra Floor materials used for the under-floor preparation.
The under-floor preparation was created using Ultra Floor Level IT HD, an industrial grade self-levelling topping that gives a strong and perfectly level wearing surface, and can be pumped in to depths of between 5 and 15 millimetres.
For the wall tiling, the brand’s best selling ProFlex SP and SuperWhite WR Flex adhesives were used. ProFlex SP is a single part product polymer that has been modified for enhanced performance and sets so quickly that grouting can begin within three hours. The SuperWhite WR Flex is a perfect solution for where vibrations are likely, and also has increased water and fungus resistance.
Ceramic Tile Merchants then used Ultra Tile grout, FlexJoint, to grout all of the display pods, due to its simplicity and flexibility, providing a mould and water-resistant finish.
