Electrician courses here at Able Skills have been getting back on track. We are keeping social distancing measures in place as we guide students towards their final assessment on their City & Guilds Level 2 Electrical course. As you can see in the video below our group of training electricians are getting some practical experience in before taking on their 204 practical assessment which consists of written questions, a 2-day practical competency assessment and finally a safe isolation exercise.
As you can see in the video a focus of the way we train is hands-on practical experience. The best way to learn is to get stuck in and our workshops and practical bays are equipped with all of the tools and materials you could possibly need as well as training boards that simulate real-world electrical installations.
At our centre we focus on helping people become full-qualified, competent electricians and have even done away with Domestic Installer courses to focus on those wanting to achieve a JIB Gold Card and generally become professional electricians.
