Looking to become a fully qualified electrician? Fancy a career change or start a career in this trade, this is the best option to get all the regulations in one go. You can take the course however you would like over weekends or weekdays. This is initially a 16-week course in total. This electrical course will give you all of the tools needed to start a great career!

Firstly you will undertake the City & Guilds Level 2 Electrical Course that is 7 weeks in total. Another 7 weeks taking the City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Course, Then 5 day’s for the 18th Edition course, 2 days for C&G 2377 and 6 days for a combined C&G 2391-52. The NVQ and AM2 will follow on from there but the dates for assessment are chosen and determined by you. This electrical course is an all in one package!

Payment information/payment plans are on the website, you can choose a full-time option or a part-time option (2 Weekends per month). This is a very structured course and is less flexible than some of our other options, you must choose between the full time and part-time option; see here for more information about the two options.

What is the AM2?

 Achievement measurement 2 - or AM2 as it’s better known as an independent assessment that is designed to enable learners to demonstrate “Electro-technical occupational competence” It is a practical assessment with a short online component, taken over 16.5 hours in total. You will undertake a series of timed tasks working on standard wiring systems, the exercises include installation, inspection, testing and fault-finding.

What You’ll Learn:

The JIB Gold card which comes with the status of “Approved Electrician” will be the reward for completing this intensive 16-week course. But it’s the absolute best way to get a career started in this field. This is a great opportunity to get into the industry; there is always a demand for electrical work from industrial to domestic installations.

The JIB Joint Industry Board Gold card is a mark of competence in this field and gives you an advantage on job opportunities over people who do not possess this card. You will be sought after first because of the reputation and hard work that goes into gaining your gold card. Where you’re thinking of starting your own business working for a company or taking up contracts the card will place you at the top of employer’s lists, client and industry.
