Electrician courses this week here at Able Skills!

We have been back here at Able Skills since the end of August. We are operating as usual, all of our courses are now back in action, however, we do have social distancing measures in place to ensure that we are providing a space that is safe and reliable for students to learn and develop new trade skills. This means reduced class sizes, separated tools and equipment as well as many other changes to the way that we operate. This does not mean any change in quality our training is as valuable as ever, if you are looking to make a change in your life, training in electrics is a great opportunity to begin building a successful career especially with the quality of our Electrician courses...

As you can see in the video above, our students learn within our work bays that are each equipped with all the tools and materials they need for their practical tasks. We have opted to keep all the equipment separate in the bays in an effort to reduce contamination between students. Whilst training with us you'll gain very close to real experience in our workshops as you are guided by our expert instructors. We take pride in the ability of our instructors as they have proven they can produce electricians that are industry-ready after leaving our centre. They have years of experience and are happy to share their insights on what they are teaching and the industry as a whole.

Interested in training?

If you are looking to get started with electrical training, there is no better place to start than here at Able Skills. We have some of the best facilities you can find as well as expert instructors who have years of experience both teaching here at our centre and being out in the industry working on the tools themselves. They know how to convey the theory information and explain practical tasks in a manner that is easy to follow and at a good pace, on a course with us the training will be intense but very well structured.

Which course should I take? If you have no experience whatsoever and don't want to jump straight into qualification and would rather gain a taste of the trade first then our 10-day Introduction to Basic Domestic Electrics course is perfect. However, if you are serious about starting a career in electrics then you will need to start working towards qualifications starting with our City & Guilds Level 2 Electrical training course! This course is 6-weeks in total and will teach you to become an electrician from scratch, starting with the basics and working towards gaining strong theory knowledge and practical skills covering a huge range of topics. On this course we will even provide you with a free CK Tool-kit to help undertake the various practical tasks required that you are free to keep upon completion.
