Here at Able Skills, we offer a massive variety of courses across all subjects. And our uptake on a lot of our courses has been amazing since we returned to providing training after the Lockdown earlier this year with some courses now booking for next year already! However, have you ever considered learning multiple trades all under one qualification? If so then our Multi Skills courses may just be perfect for you! We currently run five Multi Skills courses all cover a wide variety of subject matters and all lead by our experienced Able Skills Instructors who will be able to share their years of knowledge from their respective trades to ensure you get the best experience possible.
Firstly, we will break down our Multi Skills Course. This course will allow you to have the opportunity to take on two weeks of Introductory and Advanced training in Plastering, Bricklaying, Painting & Decorating as well as Tiling. You will then be able to choose to complete an eight-week course in all four subjects or pursue them all individually, the choice is yours! The basics of all the subjects listed previously will be taught face to face in our state-of-the-art training facilities where our instructors will guide you through a series of hands-on practical tasks that will teach you what you need to know!
Another of our Multi Skills Courses that are available to you is our Bathroom Fitting Course, on this course you will learn three key subjects these being Tiling, Plumbing, and Plastering. These three combined will provide you will a well-rounded knowledge of how to install a bathroom. The course is broken down into a full week in our Plumbing department where you will receive training in Practical Health & Safety, Plumbing Systems & Fittings, Soldering Techniques, Jointing Bending & Pressure Testing, Dealing With Valves Traps and Cisterns and finally Plumbing Pipework. All of these will help to provide you with a solid knowledge of Plumbing. You will then move onto two weekends in our Tiling department where you will learn how to competently tile both walls and floors. And then finally you shall be required to spend another two weekends in our Plastering department where you will be taught the skills you will need to help prepare any bathroom you may find yourself working in when you head out into the real world!
Finally, another of our Multi Skills Courses that may be of interest is our Property Development Course, if you choose to take on this package you will pick up all the skills needed to help when it comes to property development or refurbishment work. This training course concentrates on the most common skills that are required these being; Plumbing, Painting & Decorating, Tiling, Plastering, Plumbing, Carpentry, and Bricklaying. These courses are a mix of practical and theory-based tasks.
