If you are looking to take the first steps to become a qualified Electrician then the perfect course for you to get started on is our City & Guilds Level 2 Electrical Qualification, this electrical training course will teach you how to be an Electrician from rock bottom, as well as this the course is designed to provide and help develop regulation knowledge, practical skills, and the science skills required for electrical installation work! This course is also available as a Home Study option meaning that if you are unable to commit to Monday- Friday learning this could be the perfect option for you! You complete all theoretical work at home and then the only time you have to come into our center is to complete practical work, where our experienced tutors will be here to help you through every step of your practical tasks!
The next step to becoming a fully qualified Electrician would be to take on our City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Qualification, this is the natural next step for those who are hoping to become an Electrician. This qualification is a real mix of theoretical work and practical work that takes place in our state-of-the-art workshops! You will be making the most of our in-house computer suite where you will be undertaking the mandatory exams for this qualification. And when it comes to your time in our practical bays you will be provided with all the tools and equipment you need, all that you need to bring is just yourself and a willingness to learn! Here at Able Skills, we try our best to recreate a realistic feel to our practical training bays so that you are in the best place possible when it comes to moving out into the industry.
Upon completion of this you have a variety of courses to choose from should you want to move onto them, we offer 18th Edition, PAT Testing, Inspection & Testing courses as well as NVQ Level 3. If you are working in the industry as an Electrician but still don’t have an NVQ to your name we at Able Skills will be able to help you out. The NVQ is achieved via work and site-based assessment and portfolio building and AM2. We have our own Able Skills Assessors who will offer support and guidance and will be readily available throughout your qualification.
