Progressing through Electrician courses!

Progressing through Electrician courses!
This week here at Able Skills our electrical students who have been working through their Level 2 Electrician course are coming to the end of the 7-week process. This week they are prepping for their final 204-assessment and continuing to gain valuable practical skills. We have been working very hard over the last couple of months to ensure that we are providing a centre that's safe and reliable for students. We take health & safety very seriously, the pandemic took us by surprise as it did the world but we've taken a step back and thought about the way we operate and how we can maintain social distancing and other measures such as PPE, fogging, hand-sanitizer stations, separated training bays and much more and now we are very proud to say that our first group back will be successfully progressing forward to our Level 3 Electrician course. If you're interested in turning this year around with Electrician courses then look no further, we have some of the best facilities around and have been providing quality electrical training for over 18+ years!
Looking for a direct route?
If you are confident that you want to begin a career in electrics, then you may want a complete package of training that includes everything you need to begin working. Where would you find such a convenient option? Well, here at Able Skills we offer a Gold Card Approved Electrician Package - This is a comprehensive package of training that literally includes almost every course that we offer in the trade. This is a direct route but that doesn't mean this process will be easy, becoming an electrician takes dedication, hard work and studying, however, this package makes it easy to understand what aspects are needed to begin work as a professional. The course includes the following electrician courses...
- City & Guilds Level 2
- City & guilds Level 3
- 18th Edition
- PAT Testing
- Level 3 Award in Inspection and Testing
- NVQ
- AM2
In total, this course will take around 16-weeks to complete. The NVQ and AM2 will follow on from here but the dates for assessment are more likely to be determined by you. If the idea of taking on sixteen straight weeks seems daunting to you then know that we do offer a part-time option which means that you take on this full package on a weekend-basis. There is no difference between the level of qualifications you'll receive, the course will just take a much longer time to complete. JIB Gold Card status means that you receive the highest level of CSCS card allowing you to work in almost every environment, construction site and so on. Whether you are looking to work for a company or become self-employed this is the ultimate package!

Example of the JIB or Joint Industry Board's 'Gold Card'.
