The great opportunities in electrical training!

Here at Able Skills, we take note of what's going on in the industry, currently, one trade is becoming more and more relevant. We talked recently about how self-employed electricians are the highest earners in the self-employment category. However, there is more than one reason why this particular trade has become so attractive at the moment, today we will take a look at some of those reasons and how to get involved with little to no experience...

Electrical Courses and Electrician Training at Able Skills.

To reiterate this theme of earnings - Earnings for self-employed electricians rose by 5.8% last month to hit the highest level on record. This is due to many factors, one of which is the demand! The electrical industry is one of the worst affected by the skills shortage. Simply there are not enough young people becoming involved with the trade, it seems that the new generation doesn't see this trade as a  profitable and meaningful career, however, this couldn't be further from the truth. Yes, that's right there is a clear correlation between earnings and demand so the more demand there is the more we will see these percentages increase. London is home to the largest shortage of electricians, and with the government aiming to build 1 million homes in England by 2020, there is immense pressure on trade industries to meet this target.
