Gas training courses
Our Gas courses result in industry-recognised qualifications.

To help ensure the safety of both customers and those working within the construction industry, stringent rules and regulations are in place from the moment a person begins their training.

Since tradespeople are often dealing with potentially dangerous materials and environments, it’s vital that health and safety, along with high standards, form a significant portion of the teaching process as early as possible.

This is a sentiment that our tutors live and breathe every single day at Able Skills and is exactly why we work so closely with the British Plumbing Employers Council (BPEC) when designing and delivering our gas and plumbing courses

What is BPEC?

BPEC is an industry-leading specialist provider of qualifications, assessments, training courses and learning materials, dedicated to providing high-quality training to those who work or are preparing to work, in the Building Services Engineering (BSE) sector.

The organisation works with a network of employers, colleges and private training providers to ensure the training they offer meets the latest industry standards, and that the new generations of tradespeople have all the skills and knowledge they need before entering the field.

BPEC approved training

As a BPEC approved centre, Able Skills offers training courses that have been accredited by the organisation, meaning they meet the highest possible standards laid out by BPEC, and anyone completing a course will be doing so to a level recognised and respected by the construction industry.

What Able Skills courses are certified by BPEC?

Along with every single one of our gas courses being Gas Safe approved, a number of them are also accredited by BPEC. This includes the ACS Initial Assessment, ACS Reassessment, Commercial Gas Training and Commercial Gas Assessment.

A range of our plumbing courses also come with BPEC accreditation. This includes the Energy Efficiency Course, Domestic Hot Water Storage Systems and Water Regulations (WRAS).
