What's included in this package?

Guided by our talented and experienced electricians you will first work through our Introduction to Basic Domestic Electrics which will give you a foundation of knowledge and practical ability to work from and will form the basis of you understanding of the trade as a whole. Next, a topic that everybody working with electrical installations needs to be familiar with, the 18th Edition! This is The 18th Edition is the term commonly used in the industry when referring to the latest British Standards BS 7671:2018 Requirements for Electrical Installations, IET Wiring Regulations. It is basically a set of regulations that electricians need to abide by in an effort by IET to keep both the public and electricians safe during installations of any kind.

The final course is this 3-part package is Level 2 Inspection & Testing - Being able to properly conduct inspection and testing on your installations is a very essential skill for domestic installers, which is why it is included in this package. Also known as 2391 courses - This qualification not only helps you to fully understand testing, it also provides you with a qualification and certificate to show you are competent to undertake the work.

Upon Completion:

Upon completion of this Domestic Electrical Part-P Package you will need to apply onto a competent persons scheme. Various competent persons scheme providers will have different entry requirements and ways of assessing your competence, so it is advised that you consider contacting your preferred provider ahead of booking a course to confirm their requirements. Some scheme providers will require evidence of practical experience before progressing your application. Some may also test your competence with an online knowledge assessment to ensure you have the required understanding to progress your application. We do recommend that complete new entrants work with an experienced electrician to build up experience.
