A recent incident involving a car fire could inspire more interest in electrical courses, after it was suggested that the blaze may have occurred due to the electrics.

Firefighters were called to The Mall in London after a car went up in smoke and set fire to three other nearby vehicles, with one of the professionals on the scene suggesting an electrical fault could be the cause, according to BBC News.

This event shows the importance of having systems fitted by a qualified engineer who has taken relevant electrical courses.

Rick Ogden, a fire station manager at the London Fire Brigade, claimed there is currently nothing suspicious about the blaze.

And police inspector Mark Kelly remarked: "We don't know whether it could be a terrorist device. But we deal with it the best we can for the safety of the public."

The Belfast Telegraph noted that emergency services closed the road between Admiralty Arch and the Queen Victoria Memorial for a short time.
