Home-Study Plumbing courses, the practical side!
During these uncertain times, our training courses are paused, for the time being, however, you can still get learning right away with our 'Home-Study' option. Our Home Study Level 2 Plumbing Course option is a great way to get learning in your own time and space. This course works by giving you the materials needed to learn the theory surrounding the trade of plumbing, our 'Home-Study Pack' will include everything you need and can be sent to you straight away! Today we will be looking and what and how you'll learn when it eventually comes for you to book your 4-weeks of practical learning and for the completion of assessments!

Once you have fully understood everything included in the provided 'Home-Study Pack' and you are confident that you know the theory surrounding the trade and once we are back to business, as usual, it will be time for you to take on the practical side of this qualification. We will teach you to become a plumber from scratch, we will cover a variety of topics including; health and safety in building services engineering, electrical principles and processes for building services engineering, scientific principles for domestic, industrial and commercial plumbing, common plumbing processes, cold water systems, domestic hot water systems, sanitation, central heating systems, drainage systems and how to communicate with others within building services engineering!
Whilst attending our centre, the 4-weeks will be very hands-on and will focus on giving you the fundamental trade skills that you will need on a daily basis that you will use out in the industry. Our instructors are absolute experts in the trade and have years of experience working on the tools as well as now teaching here at our centre in Dartford, Kent they understand how to convey the lessons they learnt out on the job to our students giving you an insight into the problems you may come across and how to resolve them. We aim to give you the best possible start to your career in the trade! To complete the course you are assessed for the qualification by undertaking both practical assignments and on-line exams here at Able Skills. We will provide you with everything you need to achieve this qualification including a level 2 Plumbing reference book. Our level 2 Plumbing training centre has fantastic facilities and we hope to see you soon!
