Pebble Dashing Course
Able Skills plastering centre has recently started a pebble dashing courses which has proved quite popular with candidates that have previously done their city & guilds plastering qualification with us that are now working towards gaining their NVQs. The pebble dashing course and all other plastering courses can be run Monday to Friday and also at weekends. Adding another feather to their cap, candidates are also doing the polish plastering adding to their plastering portfolio.
Weekend Tiling Courses
All our tiling courses are now available at weekends, enabling us to deliver every programme that we offer 7 days a week. Now that we deliver our courses at weekends it enables those with work commitments to come and train. We have also refurbished our kitchen and bathroom areas giving them a fresh look. Able Skills has invested in getting a new Rubi wet tile cutter. Our NVQ tiling assessors are very busy at the moment profiling experienced tillers enabling them to obtain their NVQs quicker. Our tiling centre mirrors real life situations.
New Electrical Instructors
In preperation for our new electrical centre opening 1st March 2009, we have appointed 3 new electrical instructors. Each of the new instructors has been carefully selected due to their qualifications and experience in running electrical courses. 2nd Electrical Training Centre Opens 1st March
To meet the consistent demand for electrical training, Able Skills will be opening a second electrical training facility on the 1st March 2009. Currently some of our electrical courses are fully booked for the next 6 months, and whilst we believe this is a great vote of confidence for the training that we provide, we understand that once people have decided to train they want to get started as soon as possible. Our new facility will allow us to reduce waiting times for our most popular courses.

Welcome to Able Skills. This blog will be updated with any useful and interesting information relating to our construction training centre. Able Skills provides training for nearly all construction skills including, electrical courses, tiling course, bricklaying courses, plastering courses, decorating courses, carpentry courses and gas training courses. We are the UK’s largest private training provider for construction training and we will be adding photos and news about our latest courses, our facilities and staff. We will also provide industry updates about the available qualifications in each subject as they occur.
New Electrical Centre
Since opening our new electrical centre, our level 3 city & guilds is running very smoothly. Able Skill has invested in plasma screen presentation, new electrical PAT test DB3 equipment. We have also now taken on new electrical staff to enable us to deliver all of our electrical courses at weekends.
