Welcome to Able Skills 5 Day Advanced Bricklaying Course

Able Skills has designed this 5 day Advanced Bricklaying course for those of you who have completed our 5 day Intensive Bricklaying course and want to take things a step further.

This particular bricklaying course will teach you more advanced techniques within bricklaying whilst also providing you with the opportunity to build on your speed and technique.

The projects which you will undertake will be much more ornate and detailed than on the 5 day intensive bricklaying course. You will also be introduced to different bricklaying tools to achieve angled, even and different cuts.

You will gain full knowledge of all of the various stages of bricklaying which will provide you with the ability and confidence to tackle more complex areas of brickwork.

This is a hands-on, practical course and you will be involved at every stage and will be participating throughout the course. It is therefore recommended you bring suitable clothing and for your own safety, steel capped footwear is essential. All tools and materials will be provided throughout your training period.

Our total hands on approach guarantees that throughout your training time at Able Skills you will be continually undertaking practical tasks. Having years of experience in teaching construction skills, we know that this is the best method of teaching available.

Having attended our Introductory course you will now have the opportunity to improve on your speed and technique as well as having the opportunity to undertake:

• Building archways (segmental)
• Swoops
• Ornate pillars
• Birds beak detail
• Brick on Edge with Creasing Tile
• Quetta Bond Walling
• Plinth Brickwork

Following this 5 days of advanced Bricklaying training, we are confident that you will be confident to tackle more complex bricklaying projects.

We structure all of our bricklaying courses with a day by day schedule however we are able to accommodate changes to the programmes. If you have an area of bricklaying that you specifically wish to cover, we will do our best to put a training plan into place for you.

If from having spent 10 days with Able Skills you feel that you would like to go on and gain Bricklaying qualifications, we can offer 5 or 7 week training programmes however, the timings of these can be adjusted to take account of some of the training you have already received, we will also adjust the price accordingly.

Whether you do decide to upgrade or not, the time spent with us will not have been wasted as you will have gained a great deal of practical knowledge.

At Able Skills, we try to make all training as accessible to everyone as possible. If you would like to learn bricklaying but have work or other weekly commitments, we offer this Advanced Bricklaying training over 2 consecutive weekends.
