Whether you are looking to learn plastering on a short course basis or learning to gain a qualification – Able Skills is the right provider to choose.
We are a well established Training Provider and our promise is to provide reality, value for money training in our dedicated Plastering training centre. We have 3 full time qualified instructors and the space and facilities to provide every form of plastering training possible. We are honest in our approach and will not mislead you into thinking that you can be a qualified plasterer in 5 or 10 days. What we can guarantee is that in 5 days we will teach you to plaster and from that, move you to qualifications and NVQs if that is your choice.
The level of tuition remains the same for everyone regardless of which plastering option you choose.
We recommend that you try and visit your preferred training provider to view the facilities etc and as our courses run every week and every weekend, we are always open for you to pop in, no appointment needed!

Plastering is amongst the more lucrative professions to be involved in and finding the right plasterer for you can be quite a hard task. If you feel that you would like to learn to plaster and undertake any plastering jobs yourself then Able Skills is certainly the place to train. Whatever your plastering requirements, Able Skills are entirely confident that we can cater for your needs. We have a dedicated plastering centre which caters for all areas of both internal and external plastering and a dedicated team of plastering instructors to help you along the way.
We have arranged our facilities to cater for every plastering requirement and you can learn plastering on a short course basis or you can also learn plastering to qualification level – City & Guilds and eventually NVQ.
Whether you are a complete novice or have already tried your hand at plastering, we have plastering courses to suit your needs. We will also ensure that all of the stages of plastering are covered so that as a complete novice, you will leave with a full understanding of plastering and this will be your foundation knowledge should you wish to progress within the industry. If progression is your choice, Able Skills has the staff and facilities to offer every possible form of plastering or rendering training.
We are open 7 days every week and can accommodate people wanting to learn plastering at weekends including the option to obtain a qualification in plastering incorporating weekend training.
We are a well established Plastering training provider and have an excellent reputation within the industry due to the level of training we provide and the various courses we have available to help you learn plastering. Unlike other smaller training providers, we have the approvals in place to ensure that you can gain a qualification if you choose or move into the industry and gain NVQs. We have everything in place to support whichever choice you make.
Our Plastering Training Centre has areas dedicated to each stage of plastering and we guarantee that your training time will be well spent learning exactly what you have enrolled with us to learn. We have an excellent team of plastering instructors, all with years spent working within the trade but who have also individually obtained the required qualifications to allow them to teach, assess and internally verify the qualification courses.
We pride ourselves on the standard of instructors we have and more so on how approachable these guys are. The atmosphere in this training centre is fantastic and all of the instructors take pleasure and pride in the training they provide, they are adamant that you will not leave this centre without fully understanding what is required to produce an acceptable standard of plastering. They are also regularly available to provide you with any after course support you may need.
We welcome visitors to Able Skills; you do not need to make an appointment. Come and see our facilities, chat to our instructors and plastering students, you will be pleasantly surprised by what we have available for you and we are confident that following your visit, you will choose to learn plastering at Able Skills. Which level you choose is entirely up to you, there is so much choice. Whatever level of plastering you choose to learn, you can be guaranteed that the level of training you receive will be equal to all, regardless of whether you stay here for 2 days or 8 weeks.

Courses are held Monday to Friday. Weekend training is Saturday and Sunday.
Able Skills has their own accommodation available at £20 per night for those of you who are travelling longer distances to train with us.
