Able Skills Advanced 5 day Plastering Course

Able Skills has designed this 5 day advanced plastering course for people who have completed our intensive plastering course and want to take things a step further. This course will improve your speed and technique in skimming walls and ceilings and will teach you to plaster to perfection.

Our total hands on approach guarantees that throughout your training time at Able Skills you will be continually plastering. Having years of experience, we know that this is the best method of teaching available.

You will gain full knowledge of all of the plastering stages required and this will provide you with the ability and confidence to tackle plastering in all areas.

This course will include:

• Cutting and setting beads
• Applying PVA adhesive Unibond to existing surfaces
• Skimming walls
• Skimming ceilings
• Plastering reveals – internal and external
• Repairing damaged plaster
• Bonding out
• Internal Angle Trowel techniques
• Plastering around wall sockets and
• Plastering around ceiling roses

At Able Skills, we try to make all training as accessible to everyone as possible. If you would like to learn to plaster but have work or other weekly commitments, we offer plastering training over 2 consecutive weekends. Please visit our Weekend Plastering page.

At the end of your plastering course you will receive an Able Skills Certificate of completion and you can also have a portfolio and photographs of the stages of the work you have carried out during the period you have trained with us; this may assist you in gaining employment at a later stage.
