According to research the electrical industry requires an additional 15,000 fully trained and qualified electricians within the next 4-years! Above you can see the top four areas that have the highest shortage of electricians. These are vacancies for fully-qualified electricians. Unfortunately there is not enough people taking up the trade this days.

Fortunately for those who are working in the trade, they are seeing huge increases in their earnings and general demand. The role plays extremely well when compared to other trades. Electricians, in fact, are the highest earning tradespeople. , data recently published by the Office for National Statistics found electricians earn the most out of all the trades with an average salary of £33,495.

Using these two tools you will learn the theory in your own time. Then once you feel comfortable that you have understood the information provided, you will need to book in '4-weeks' for practical learning and exams.
