I found Able Skills over the internet and choose it because of the course content and it was quite local to me. J and Spencer, the instructors are a credit to the company. They provide great tuition and had a great time. Thanks!
I liked the fact that Able Skills provided weekend training. The course was intensive but enjoyable. Suitable and accommodating for a female and would recommend it to other females.
Everything was explained very well before the tasks. I am surprised at how much I learnt bearing in mind I was a complete beginner. The course was very informative and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you Jo and Spencer!
The course was laid out perfectly for the week so we progressed every day skill wise. I was very impressed with the whole idea of the centre and the facilities and the level of training received.
I heard about able skills through some friends that had done training there before. Jo is a very experienced tutor and extremely helpful. He has excellent teaching styles and methods and I have seen my skills improve greatly throughout the course.
I heard about able skills via their website and through a friend that trained there previously. My instructor was a very good tutor; his teaching method was excellent and gave me valuable. He has a good talking manner with the Ghurkhas.
My tutor, Jo, is very helpful, supportive and his teaching method is very good. This course is very useful and I have improved my knowledge and gained more confident.
This was a very good course and I am extremely happy with what I have gained in just 6 weeks. Excellent instructors in Jo & Spencer. Overall, I am very happy and I will most definitely come back for another course in the future.
Very informative and hands on. To me being shown how to do something is better than text books! Extremely good value course – I won’t be employing any more plasterers! If I do I will know the standard that I want. Good course – Thank You!
Throughout my training I felt I received help and guidance whenever it was needed and was always supported by the instructors. I now feel confident in attempting work for myself in small areas. I have enjoyed the course very much, there is a good atmosphere on the course and the tutors always made you feel […]
The construction industry is potentially one of the few sectors that seems ideally placed to not only withstand the effects of the recession, but to come out of it in a stronger position. Therefore, the time has never been better to train to take advantage of the upturn, whenever it comes. Plasterers are very much […]
Able Skills students that have already completed their City & Guilds qualifications with us and now progressing on to their NVQ have had the fantastic opportunity of working in our new electrical AM2 centre to build up their portfolios under the watchful eye of our plastering assessor, Jo. They are plastering all the new classrooms […]
