What's included?


This course is a collection of all the necessary qualifications needed to begin working within a domestic setting. Taught by our expert electricians you will learn a huge range of subjects and skills. Introduction to Domestic Installation:


Introduction to Domestic Electrical Installation and Understanding Electrical Installation and Applicable Building Regulations - Is the first course you will take on, for the first 2-weeks you will start of the journey to becoming a Domestic Electrical Installer through a mix of practical and theory training, our instructors will give you the skills and confidence to carry out the fundamentals of the trade. course covers the whole electrical installation process including testing and commissioning your circuit installation to ensure it is safe for you to energise. This course also builds on your knowledge further and works towards strengthening your understanding of an electrical installation and any implications the installation may have with regards to the Building Regulations. In short these first two weeks will give you an insight into life as an electrician and will teach you the skills that you will later use on a daily basis!


18th Edition:


The aim of this extended 5-day electrical training course is to gain familiarity with the layout, content and application of the BS 7671 (2018) Requirements for Electrical Installations. Also known as the IET Wiring Regulations, these are the definitive standards for the electrical industry in respect of the safe use and operation of electrical equipment and systems. This course is completely classroom based and will look to give you confidence in your ability to find the relevant information in the book itself and to understand the main principles. This course will be completed by and online, open-book exam here in our dedicated exam room. The 18th Edition is a qualification that everybody working with electrical installations needs to acquire.


 Level 2 Certificate in Inspection and Testing:


Next up in week 4 you will take on Inspection & Testing! Which will teach you everything you need to know regarding initial verification and periodic inspection and testing. The instructor will go through everything that you will be expected to know about Inspection and Testing on both new and existing installations. This level 2 qualification is used as a stepping stone for those looking to achieve the final course in this package...As this is often a difficult subject for even the most experienced of electricians. It is included in this package as it is a very essential skill and qualification to have for anyone undertaking electrical installations.


 Level 3 Certificate in Inspection and Testing:


The final course in this package is Level 3 Award in Inspection and Testing - This 5-day course will cover a huge amount of topics surrounding the subject of Inspection and Testing, including; How to produce a condition report with recording observations and classifications, Safe isolation of electrical circuits and installations, How to interpret test results and much more! This final course may be difficult for some and we recommend taking a break in between these final two qualifications, it is also advisable that you consider gaining some experience before embarking on this aspect of the package.
