Electrician courses? Business as usual at Able Skills!

Here at Able Skills we are starting off December as usual, teaching aspiring electricians the tools of the trade. We have had to make many changes to the way that we operate in the last 6-months, however, we are now in a position to continue providing high-quality, comprehensive Electrician courses at a social distance. We have been teaching the trade for many years now and we have seen many changes in the industry. Nobody could have expected what has happened this year. There are now so many people looking for new opportunities through training, which is great, there has been a skills gap in the industry for some time and it is great to be able to prepare new, capable people for a new life in the electrical industry. We are all hoping for a better year in 2021! If you have been thinking about making a change and working towards a new career make 2021 that year with our Electrician training courses! Take a look below at some of our students getting stuck into practical tasks at a safe social distance...

As you can see in the video above, our workbays are now used by individuals whereas we used to have 2-students per bay. This means that we have had to reduce class sizes overall to accommodate social distancing. However this is not slowing our students down as they get hands-on with practical tasks on a daily basis and learn more and more through our classroom-based theory sessions. We offer a full-range of electrician courses meaning that as a complete beginner you could come to us and gain all of the knowledge, skills and qualifications you'll need to eventually work out in the industry as a professional electrician!  Our courses result in industry recognised qualifications from City & Guilds and are taught by absolute experts in the industry who have many years of both teaching experience and have worked out in the industry themselves for a long time.  They understand what goes into becoming a competent electrician and will pass on their insights and ideas to you.

How do I start?

There is no better starting point out there than our City & Guilds Level 2 Electrician course - This course is 7-weeks of training focused on both theory and practical aiming to give you a solid grasp on the fundamentals of the trade.
