Former Arsenal Footballer takes up Electrician Training at Able Skills
Able Skills are proud to accommodate former Arsenal First Team Goal Keeper Craig Holloway at our Training Centre in Dartford! Craig is a former 2 time FA Cup Youth winner and had the pleasure of sharing the pitch and playing on the same team with the likes of Thierry Henry, Sol Campbell, Patrick Vieira and the rest of the Arsenal ‘Invincibles Squad’. Having shifted his focus into other areas, Craig is now receiving his Electrician Training at Able Skills on his Level 2 Electrical Course as well as staying involved in the sport he loves.
The former player had been playing at Arsenal since the young of age of 11 years old and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of doing so. Playing at Craig’s level is what many young athletes dream of and is someone the youth of today can really look up to. Besides his Electrician Training, Craig is still dedicates his spare time to coaching the young players of today and future stars of tomorrow through Volenti Academy. Such education programme is ran by himself alongside former pro footballer Bobby Bowry.
Taking on 16-19 year old’s the programme offers young talent the opportunity to follow in Craig’s footsteps. When asked what his most notable memory was, he replied with being in the squad for both premiership and championship games against team such as West Brom and Valencia.
Being a part of such sport at a high level, we can only imagine the amount of stories Craig has and the amount of people from all over the world he’s met. City & Guilds Electrician Training
Craig is well under way on his City & Guilds Level 2 Electrical Course and hopes to gain some on site experience and eventually come back to achieve his Level 3 in electrics.
The Level 2 Electrical Course Craig is on will teach you how to be an electrician from scratch. As you progresses you will gain extensive knowledge of the theory of Electrics as well as great practical skills before being assessed.
