At the beginning of the year we gave our gas training courses a huge revamp to give our students more skills. This was a plan to help our students leave our centre ready for work as they begin on their portfolio. Overall, we have noticed that our gas students are leaving much more industry knowledge.
Our new entrants gas package is split into five stages which incorporates the five-week gas safety training. This is to allow our students more practical experience and to gain a higher standard of pipe working skills to be able to install cold and hot water heating systems that they will be working with in the industry. This will also give them theory knowledge on all the systems and appliances. We believe this enables our students to be more employable in the future due to a higher standard of training, skills, and knowledge they will come away with.
Along with our new entrants packages, we are still running our Managed Learning Programme that is the perfect gas package for qualified Plumbers now coming into the gas industry. Lots of our Level 2 Plumbing students take this course straight after the completion of their plumbing course.
We believe our gas courses are up there with the best in the UK along with some of the best gas instructors in the UK. The hard work and dedication our whole gas team put into their work is amazing. Ian, Roy, Richard, and Mike all work extremely hard to make sure they offer the best teaching to every single one of their students in our centre. They have all been here for a number of years now and have been a huge success in the growth of our gas courses.
Also, we have added a brand new Boiler Fault Finding Course to our gas programme that has proved extremely popular.
