Jack Fuller is nearing the end of his six-week course with us here at Able Skills. He is very happy to be getting his qualification for his City & Guilds 6217 Level 2 Plastering Certificate. Jack’s been delighted with the skills he’s learned here and tells us that he’s keen to come back in the future to continue to build on his training.

During his time at Able Skills Jack has learnt a huge amount that will be very beneficial to him for his plastering future. When he came to us he didn’t have a sound knowledge of plastering but over the course he’s built up a solid skill base.

He says that after all his learning and practical work, he now feels confident he can go out and complete plastering jobs. He went on to tell us how he already has jobs lined up for when he finishes the course.

Our courses are aimed at giving students the knowledge and skills so they are able to go straight out and start work. Practical work is planned to provide students with the confidence to work on site.

Throughout Jack’s six-week course he has built a good relationship with his instructors and the office staff. He has nothing but praise for them, and says he’s been really happy with the way the tutors have helped him throughout the course, even describing them as ‘stars’.

He’s also been pleased with the way the office staff have been very helpful with everything he needed. Adding that there was nothing they could have done better to make his experience more enjoyable. He’s been happy to recommend Able Skills courses to friends and colleagues who might be interested in building on their skill set.

This is the first course Jack has completed with us at Able Skills. We asked if he would ever consider doing more in the future. And, after being so happy with this first course, he says he would like to do more with us at Able Skills. He’s even thought about expanding his skill range by looking into other construction areas, such as tiling.

Jack wants to be multi skilled, and said that in the future Able Skills is the place he’ll come to do another course. We like to think that students like Jack, with his willingness to come back and learn more at Able Skills, prove that we’re the best at what we do and offer a great service to anyone looking to learn new skills.

Jack said he was happy with the quality of he course and the amount he paid for it, and that he couldn’t have found a better deal at any other centre.

Moving into the future, Jack plans to be a self-employed plasterer. Before he came to Able Skills he was an engineer, so it’s been a huge life change. Proving that at Able Skills our courses have the capability to change people’s careers, and lives.

We would like to wish Jack all the best for the future and we hope to see him at Able Skills again soon.
