Mike is at the halfway mark of his 10 Week Tiling Course and he has progressed massively during this time due to his hard work and passion for tiling.

Everything Mike has learnt during his 5 weeks has been extremely relevant to him. The reason for this is that he has always loved tiling and wanted to learn how to do it professionally. The area he enjoyed learning the most was being taught all the correct methods to take when preparing a surface and carrying out the tiling.

Throughout Mike’s course his instructor was Max and he had fantastic praise for him. In one word he described him as ‘awesome’ which just reflects on the great teaching that Max gives to his students. Mike continued by saying that Max was always on hand to help him when he needed it, even when it was little things Max would be there to help. As his course has gone on and his skills have developed Mike has begun to undertake small jobs at the weekend, Max has along the way given Mike tips and advice on how he can improve.

Overall he is extremely happy with his first course at Able Skills and he didn’t hesitate to say that he already has plans to return in the future to possibly enrol onto a plastering or decorating course. This is due to the fact he found that Able Skills are an extremely organised company in their work, which is a huge bonus because it makes his course much easier. Also Mike said that the course is well worth his money and he has got everything he paid for.

Before Able Skills, Mike used to work in management for a building contractors, so he has always been involved in the construction industry. However he couldn’t ignore his passion for tiling as this is his favoured career path. Mike made the decision to begin his journey to a successful tiling career at Able Skills. Although he is only halfway through his course Mike has already set up his own company so he is ready to get out and work as soon as his course is finished. He has jobs lined up and will use his management skills and tiling skills to help him along his was with his new business.

We want to wish Mike the best of luck for the future and hope it all goes well with his new business!
