Tiling Course Training To Level 2 Avoids Possible Future Work Restrictions

The replacement by City & Guilds of the NVQ qualification with the new Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) as the new Government framework for recognising achievement through the award of credit for units and qualifications are finally beginning to be phased in, after a period of delay. This will not effect the qualification status of current NVQ trainees or those about to begin their training.Although their introduction will not basically alter the level of knowledge and training requirements, they are designed to greatly improve individual learning capability by making the course units easier to understand, more flexible and allow for interchangeable skillsets. Applying across the trade industry training curriculum, in particular, plumbing courses and electrical courses, prospective candidates who wish to take a City & Guilds tiling course in the future should be aware that they will also be changing from NVQ to QCF.Besides the uncertainty regarding Government full or partial funding issues - although AbleSkills is not reliant on Governement funding and other types of funding options can be discussed?
