Finance services with Able Skills provided by DEKO
Able Skills is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and has teamed up with DEKO to offer you alternative payment methods for courses which we provide.
Finance is available for the majority of our qualification courses and is offered at rates starting from 9.9% APR - you can choose to spread the payments over a period of 1 to 4 years.
If you are interested in paying for your course with finance we will send you a link from which you can make your application online and then get an instant decision. Once you have been approved simply pay your deposit for your course and we will send out all of your confirmation details and joining instructions.

Will I be eligible for finance?
Once you have filled in your on line finance application, the details will be assessed and you will receive an instant approval or refusal of credit. Occasionally, orders will be held for manual assessment but in this instance you can expect to be notified by email of the credit decision within a few working hours.
All loans are subject to status. You must be at least 18 years old and a permanent resident in the UK. Customers from outside the UK cannot apply for finance for Able Skills courses.
How do I make my repayments?
Monthly repayments are taken by direct debit. Your finance agreement starts from when you receive your confirmation details (usually when you book the course) and you don't start repaying your loan until a month after this date.
Cooling Off Period
In line with distance-selling regulations, you have 14 days from the date you sign your agreement to change your mind about the loan. If you simply wish to change your mind about the loan but still attend your course, you must contact Able Skills and pay for your course in full using an alternative method. Please bear in mind that if you are not accepted for credit finance, you do have the option at Able Skills to pay as you train – interest free. Once the new payment has been verified, Able Skills will cancel your credit agreement and DEKO will return your original deposit.
It is sometimes possible to change the term of the loan if you wish. Again please speak to us and we will see what we can do.
