A look into our Plastering courses!

Thinking about taking up a trade? We offer a huge range of choices; Tiling courses, Decorating courses, Bricklaying courses, Electrician Courses, Gas courses and more. Plastering is an honest way to make a living and is a great choice for somebody looking to become self-employed or simply add a new skill to their toolbox. We have been around for 18-years, we know how to provide quality training to all aspiring tradesmen and women, especially plastering which was the very first trade that we offered. We have experience in taking people from a beginner level to working out in the industry and we hope to do the same for you! Following government advice, we have currently suspended all training, however, let's take a look at what our plastering courses typically look like and what you'll learn when we get back to business as usual...

There is a misconception that plastering is an easy trade, this is far from the truth. In fact, it's hard to learn especially to a standard where you have the speed to make good money and also maintain quality. Luckily for you, our instructors are experts in the skills and will do their best to give you a great start. Whether you are looking to get a taste of the trade with our Introduction to Plastering course or you aim to kick-start a career with our Level 2 Plastering Diploma we have got a range of training courses to suit your needs.

The Level 2 Plastering Diploma is a 10-week complete package that is aimed at those looking to pursue a career in the trade. Of course, this course will be mostly practical, getting stuck in with practical learning straight from the offset. The course will teach you everything you need to know from the more basic aspects all the way to more advanced skills within the trade. We aim to give you a great insight into how the industry works, how to make that initial start and the skill itself. The course will cover the following topics:

  • Health, safety and welfare in construction
  • Principles of building construction, information and communication
  • Apply plastering materials to interiors
  • Fix dry lining and plasterboards to interiors
  • Laying sand and cement screeds
  • Applying plastering materials to external backgrounds
