Able Skills Joins National Skills Academy Hub

Able Skills are delighted to announce that it has become a member of the London and South East Hub for the National Skills Academy for Environmental Technologies (NSAET).CEO of Summit Skills Keith Marshall OBE and Barry Gardiner, MP for Brent North, joined Able Skills' managing director Gary Measures at the College of North West London for the Hub's launch on January 27th.This is a huge honour for Able Skills as it ensures that our new environmental technology centre will play a major role in the provision of renewable energy courses while actively delivering the objectives of the NSAET.The new NSAET will transform the way the sector plans and delivers renewable and environmental technology skills by providing a single point of contact for nationwide green skills development.Summit Skills, the sector skills council for building services engineering, is leading the development of the NSAET on behalf of the sector and will work closely with Able Skills to deliver cutting-edge renewable energy training.Mr Marshall said that more tradespeople will need renewable energy skills because environmental technologies are growing in popularity as the government is increasingly committed to meeting its low carbon agenda.?
