We even offer a combined option at a reduced price that includes the two major qualifications you'll need on your journey from new entrant to working professional. Today we want to outline how this training options works and how you can get started right now, from the comfort of your own home!

 

 

What is a Home-Study course?

 

A Home-Study training option allows you to begin training from home. We provide everything you'll need to begin learning the theory side of the trade - This includes; Our specially crafted 'Home-Study Pack', the relevant City & Guilds textbooks, access to the online learning platform SmartScreen and finally contact details for one of our expect electrical instructors. Using these different recourses you will be able to gain a good understanding of the theory behind electrics and can even test yourself as you study with the includes example questions presented in the same way as they are in the final tests. Once you are confident that you have absorbed all of the information provided and once it is safe for us to reopen you will book time to take on the practical side of the trade in our state of the art workshops.

How does the combined option work?

 

We offer this option for both our City & Guilds Level 2 & our City & Guilds Level 3 qualifications. However our Home Study Electrics Level 2 and Level 3 course simply combines both qualifications into one complete package at a discount. This is the perfect option during lockdown to get started towards new opportunities in the electrical industry the option blends home and in-centre learning. If you opt for this package of learning, you will be able to work at your own pace, learning from comprehensive study packs with access to online resources to help you through the various units detailed within the qualification. By undertaking these ‘Home Study’ options, you are effectively replacing your access to an instructor in a classroom environment with a home learning theory pack. As this is the case, we have put together very comprehensive home study electrician packs to ‘replace the tutor’ and if followed correctly you will have no problems getting stuck into the practical side when possible. The two qualifications will be taken on one after another...

These Home-Study options are no different to our traditions courses in terms of the theory you'll learn and the skills you will acquire. We have put a lot of work into creating a complete package that is easy to follow and is comprehensive enough to have you ready to take on the practical side on arrival. Once you do attend the centre you'll be guided by our talented electrical instructors who have years of experience both teaching electrical courses and working out in the industry themselves. They are wealth's of electrical knowledge and will be able to answer any questions you have and get you up to speed with anything you are unsure of. When in the centre, you can be assured that we have access to the very best tools and equipment. We have excellent working relationships with CK, Yesss Electrical and Megger.

Our office is open 7-days-a-week between 8:30 - 16:30! Alternatively you can secure your place online, once booked we will prepare and dispatch all of the materials you need as well as provide you with contact details for one of our electrical instructors just in case you need some help and or reassurance.
