City & Guilds 2357 at Able Skills - The Halfway Mark

On the 18th April 2011, Able Skills successfully enrolled 14 candidates onto the new City & Guilds 2357-13 Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Installing Electrotechnical Systems and Equipment.13 guys and 1 girl have been ploughing through the course work and undertaking practical training, assessments, assignments and exams and all 14 are approaching the halfway mark having produced excellent work and excellent results.Able Skills instructors, Richard Mannell and Paul Hewson, have been providing tuition and guidance throughout and are very pleased with how the C&G 2357 course has been structured and with the effort that these students are putting in. Richard has remarked that they are 'a very good group' and that the ongoing assignments that they are undertaking are 'of an excellent standard'.The group are a mixture of ages and backgrounds with just the 1 student having an electrical background so for them to have taken in the information that they are being provided with so well, just underpins the excellent tuition that they are receiving and the quality of the support material that has been generated by the Electrical team at Able Skills for the C&G 2357.We expect the group to complete the knowledge units of this C&G 2357 Electrical qualification by the middle of October and at this stage we will look to provide them with access to electrical installation work so that the Performance units can also be undertaken with an Able Skills qualified Assessor available for site visits. After this, Able Skills will arrange for the individual candidates to undertake their AM2 assessment which will tie up the whole qualification producing our first batch of students to complete the C&G 2357.Able Skills has already allocated a new start date for the next City & Guilds 2357, this new group will start on 19th September and we are confident that the same results will be produced. We are also still running the City & Guilds 2330 at both levels 2 and 3 with a level 2 group starting on 08th August - training for 8 consecutive weeks before moving on to the City & Guilds 2330 at level 3 in October.
