Unfortunately, at this current moment in time we are not able to provide the training courses that we love teaching at our centre, however for those of you who are interested in picking up your City & Guilds Level 2 in Plumbing note that we have an alternate way to get started! With this option, you are able to replace the instructor for the theory side of the qualification and get started learning at home!
You will need to attend our centre to gain practical skills and complete assessments through this 'Home-Study' option.
Due to the Coronavirus lockdown, the traditional Level 2 course is currently unavailable, however, we do offer a home-study alternative that lets you start your learning from home and then complete the practical elements of the course at our training centre at a later date. Once we are able to continue to teach on-site at our centre you will be able to book your 4-weeks of practical learning. We will keep you updated on this date via all social media platforms and or through this website on the homepage!
How does this option work?
You can get started now by calling 01322 280 202 / or by emailing info@ableskills.co.uk at home with our Home Study Level 2 Plumbing Course option is a great way to get learning in your own time and space. This course works by giving you the materials needed to learn the theory surrounding the trade of plumbing, our 'Home-Study Pack' will include everything you need and can be sent to you straight away! This course is designed to reduce the total amount of time needed at our centre, however, we do recommend that you take your time with these materials and that you don't rush in any way. You will need to make sure that you fully understand all of the information that you are being presented with before attending our training facility...You can book the course now, we will send you the materials needed to understand the theory and once we are back open here in Dartford, Kent you can book time for practical learning and assessments!
There is absolutely no difference when it comes to the final result of the course, upon successful completion you will receive a City & Guilds Level 2 Certificate. The exact same as the traditional course, the only difference is the way that you achieve it. This award is normally completed over a 6-week period, however, this 'Home-Study' option will be completed through 6-weeks of at-home learning with the Home-Study pack accompanied with the access to the online learning platform 'Smart-screen' followed by 4-weeks of at centre practical learning and completion of assessments.
