Get started with Home-Study Electrician courses!
With our Home-Study options for electrical training, you can get started straight away, working towards a new career from the comfort of your own home! We will provide all of the theory materials needed to take on an electrician course at home, you will receive a 'Home-Study' pack that includes all of the relevant information and even test questions, you will also have contact information for one of our electrical instructors in case you are confused or stuck on something. We are aiming to reduce the total number of students on-site here at Able Skills at any given time to ensure social distancing, this course is a great option for somebody looking to make a change in direction, you will earn the same qualification and receive the same high-level of training that you would experience attending the traditional Electrician courses.

How does this option work?
We offer a 'Home-Study' option for both our City & Guilds Level 2 and Level 3 courses. Once you are confident that you have understood the theory provided then you will need to book time in our entre to learn the practical side of the trade and to complete assessments. By undertaking this ‘Home Study’ electrical course, you are effectively replacing your access to an instructor in a classroom environment with a home learning theory pack. As this is the case, we have put together very comprehensive study packs to ‘replace the tutor’ allowing you to study your electrician course at home.
The Level 2 course requires 4-weeks of at centre training and the Level 3 course required 3-weeks. You will be guided by our expert instructors who have years of experience in the trad, they will give you an excellent starting point in terms of understanding the industry and what your role is as well as the practical skills themselves.
