Professionals may benefit from plumbing courses, with one source suggesting that the best workers are able to manage even in difficult circumstances.
Writing on the community site About My Area, Ivor Bates suggested that not all plumbers are the same and that it is important to know a reputable one.
He noted that the best engineers in this profession are always in demand, which could offer workers a reason to sign up for plumbing courses.
"It's a fact of life for anyone who owns or rents their own home in the capital that at some point in time they will need a plumber," wrote Mr Bates.
The author continued by saying that there is a whole range of skills expected from people in this trade, as they need to be able handle several demanding situations, such as leaking pipes, heating installations and boiler repairs.
This week, Mr Bates also suggested that plumbing issues can be more troublesome if they occur in the winter.
