Plumbing in space!?
Everybody has to use the toilet and in space, it's no diffrent. The ISS or International Space Station / NASA has revealed that commander Luca Parmitano donned his “plumber’s hat” to upgrade the plumbing systems on the International Space Station’s (ISS) bathroom! The station has two space equipt toilets for the current 6 astronauts working and living 250 miles above the earth!

On Friday, October 25, Commander Parmitano was tasked with an unusual round of maintenance work on the space station. The Italian astronaut took to doing a spot of plumbing, replacing some of the components, obviously the unit itself is very different than that of our day-to-day, in fact, their toilet is so advanced each cost around £14,000! Because of the space station’s microgravity environment, going to the toilet is a tricky job...But the space toilets used on the ISS are adapted to keep all activities as comfortable and hygienic as possible! - Check out this video to learn more.

Firstly, weekend training! Yes, that is right you can gain a City & Guilds Level 2 on a two weekends on two weekends off basis. This is a great option for those of you with prior arrangements that you can't get out of, the opportunity to be able to study on the weekend will hopefully make it possible for some individuals to learn and develop in this trade. You will gain the exact same qualification as those on a full-time basis, the only difference is that it will obviously take you a longer amount of time in total!
Next, Home Study Level 2 Plumbing Course! That's right, home-study, this course is designed for you to be able to learn the theory surrounding plumbing in your own time and then come in for 4 separate weeks (Chosen by you) to learn the practical side and for exams. This is a very popular choice for our students as we provide quality materials such as our 'home-study pack' and access to the online learning platform 'SmartScreen'.
