Safety measures for Electrician courses!

Here at Able Skills we are eager to get back to providing electrician courses at our centre. We are making relevant changes to how we conduct ourselves, the amount of students at the centre at any given time and alternative training methods. Student safety is obviously a big concern for us at this moment and we are implementing rules for our centre including; the 2-meter rule, wearing PPE such as gloves, hiring additional cleaning staff and halving the amount of students at the centre!

Safety measures for Electrician courses!

We are making these changes to ensure the safety of both our students and staff. Making sure that once we begin taking students on electrician courses at a more steady rate that we are providing a safe learning environment. We do not have a specific date for re-opining our centre, however, we are contacting students and getting some processed. We are also still providing courses that can start separate from our centre such as our 'Home-Study' range of courses such as our Level 2 Electrician courses and Level 3 Electrician course. These options can start at home, you will receive a home-study pack which includes all of the theory learning for each qualification. Allowing you to get started training from the comfort of your own home, in addition to the study pack you will also be able to contact an electrical instructor and have access to the online learning platform 'smart-screen'.

What does this mean?

This means nothing in terms of the quality of training you will receive here in Dartford, Kent. This is simply a matter of health & safety! We will do everything we can to provide an environment that is safe to work in. If you have any questions then feel free to give us a call on 01322 280 202 but these changes are simple to understand and are in your best interest. Thank you for being patient. When you book or make an enquiry with us we will provide guidelines that outline how to be prepared, safe and ready to come into our centre. These changes are similar to that being used in our supermarkets and other retail shops, again these include:

  1. Reducing the amount of students by half
  2. 2-meter distancing
  3. Gloves and other protective equipment
  4. Additional cleaning staff
