Tiling courses will be back on track!

If you had one of our Tiling courses already booked, that was supposed to start in the last couple of weeks or is due to start soon...Do not fear, we aim to get everybody back on track! We will be doing our absolute best to turn this situation around when it is safe to do so. We will be hiring additional staff, offering extra weekend training and generally putting things in place to accommodate all of our students upon return. If you have been considering a new career path we will also today take a look at how to get an initial start in the trade and which courses are right for somebody looking to become a professional.

Starting out:

Firstly, if you are interested in Tiling as a profession but you don't have too much experience then you may want to take on our Introduction to Tiling course. This course is just 5-days, however, it is packed full of information and hands-on training, it will give you an excellent start in terms of providing you with the fundamental skills and additionally a week to understand if the trade is interesting to you and if you could see yourself carrying out these tasks on a daily basis as a job. This will be much more beneficial if you have an opportunity to know if the trade is fro you instead of jumping into a full-time course and then later feeling that the trade is not for you and end up switching course or giving up.

Starting a career:

Now if you already do have some experience or you are confident that the trade is for you, maybe you have done some DIY etc. Then you should be looking at our City & Guilds Tiling Course. This course will be where the journey really starts and ultimately this course will teach you how to be a Tiler from scratch over a period of 6-weeks. If you are looking for a change of career and want to be a Tiler then this is an excellent choice of course to undertake. From the very basic to the more difficult aspects of tiling, this programme of learning will see you competent to undertake the most difficult of tiling tasks, gaining a City & Guilds certificate upon completion.

By the time you finish this City & Guilds tiling course you will have the ability to look at any potential job, understand the requirements of the work and prepare quotes for customers knowing that you can undertake the work competently and to the customer's satisfaction. We aim to give you an insight into the industry and how to do this, our instructors are experts in the trade and have years of experience dealing with customers and nos that they have been teaching here at our centre in Dartford, Kent for a long time they understand how to convey the lessons they learnt out in the industry to our students giving you an encouraging starting point and an understanding of not only the skill itself but how the process of being a professional trader actually works.
