Warmup, the London-based underfloor heating manufacturer and supplier, has been awarded ISO 9001:2008 certification in recognition of its quality management system.

The ISO certification states that the business maintains rigorous quality management processes for the design, development and delivery of its underfloor heating products, which are used across the world.

The company’s operations director, Ken English, explained that the certification ensures that top-end processes are followed by the business, resulting in increased productivity, quality and efficiency.

“Obtaining this certification validates our efforts to ensure high quality at all levels, through development and research, production, testing and the sale of products.”

The company’s chairman and chief executive, Andrew Stimpson, said that the achievement was an important milestone in the development of the company.

“It is a significant achievement because with our other manufacturing approvals, for example, BEAB, UL, VDE, CSA and KEMA KEUR, Warmup has now achieved the pinnacle of product and service excellence,” Stimpson explained. “Warmup completed certification in a very short time, demonstrating that we already had a very effective business process and that quality processes were well established within the organisation.”
