Almost every workplace that you can think of requires electricity in some way or another...A commercial electrician's job is to keep companies compliant and fully operational. The particular type of day to day work will vary drastically depending on what the company needs and how they operate. To become a commercial electrician you will need to have 'ECS Gold Card Status' which can be achieved with the Gold Card Approved Electrician Package that we run here at our centre. This course includes almost everything that we offer from an electrical point of view. This package will teach you to be an Electrician, a Domestic Installer, to test portable appliances, to inspect and test on both single and three-phase supplies and you also achieve a level 3 NVQ and AM2!

The work that you would be carrying out as a commercial electrician will vary from week to week, for example, whether you are developing, refitting or improving a workspace, lighting is a crucial factor - In some settings, including retail units and restaurants, a commercial electrician might install a wide range of lighting solutions to create the right ambience or in an office space more visible lighting. Companies also call on a commercial electrician is to undertake electrical testing and inspecting and much more...

There are many opportunities for electricians once qualified, however, it has been seen by people as a trade that takes quite a long process to become a working professional in. With the help of Able Skills, becoming fully qualified has never been easier. This package will provide you with an overall knowledge of the subject over a period of around 16-weeks in total. This course is taught by our talented instructors, who have years of experience both teaching and working out in the industry, they know what it takes to go from beginner to working professionals in this trade. Everything is provided for you when studying here at our centre - the only thing you need to bring with you is concentration this package is a long process and will take some real focus! The course can also actually be taken on a part-time basis meaning that you would study here 2 weekends out of every month until you have completed every aspect. This will take a considerable amount of time to complete but may be a beneficial and viable option for those with an existing job or somebody who is just generally too busy to study here on a full-time basis for weeks on end.
