Why should I get my boiler serviced?

1.

Regular services minimise the chance of a breakdown:

Making sure that you get your boiler serviced regularly is one of the most important aspects when thinking about boilers health. Leaving it too late could mean that a small problem that could have been easily identified and dealt with could snowball into a bigger fault that could be the end of it.

This is especially true for older boilers. You could find yourself in the depths of winter with no heating. And even in the summer, you use your boiler for hot water. Let’s face it – there is no good time for your boiler to break down. Regular services ensure your boiler is in good working order and minimises the chances of your family being left in the cold, paying out and regretting that you never called a professional for a quick and inexpensive service.

2.

Regular services are much cheaper than a replacement:

Getting a replacement boiler can be tedious, expensive and easily avoided by simply getting the existing one serviced. A boiler service may not be as expensive as you think and can even cost as little as £50 which compared with the price of a boiler is close to if not more than a £1,000!

3.

Services can improve the efficiency of your boiler:

Getting your boiler services could result in the professional finding a fault that once fixed improves the overall efficiency of your boiler. A Gas Safe registered plumber will ensure that your boiler is working efficiently as possible. If it is not running efficiently it could be costing you more money, but your plumber can help you to reduce your energy bills by making any necessary repairs or adjustments.
