No rest for the wicked here at Able Skills for us and our students this Bank Holiday. A full week of training across our centre with new students starting on a range of training packages with us.
From Plumbing Courses, Electrical Courses and much more, we are extremely busy with students changing their lives with our courses. The big starter this week was a brand new group of students on the City & Guilds Level 2 Electrical Course as they begin their journey to becoming fully qualified Electricians.

Many of the students here with us start the Level 2 are on the Gold Card Electricians Course. They will complete the 7 weeks of Level 2 then move onto the 18th Edition and Level 3 before eventually moving onto the NVQ and AM2. They may only be two days into the course; however, they are making great progress with the health and safety. Also, they have now received their FREE CK Toolkit which comes along with the Gold Card course. See them all here:

It’s not all about the aspiring Electricians at Able Skills this week, we have students entering the second week of their City & Guilds Level 2 Plumbing Course, in which they are making progress with their initial pipe skills. See what they are up to here:
We also have several students of a range of our Home Study courses in both electrics and plumbing. Both the Level 2 Plumbing Courses and Level 3 Electrical Courses.
Both of our current Gas Courses are making great progress as they enter the final weeks of their course. They are all passing exams and learning well to be ready to go out and complete their portfolios.
It isn’t just the technical trades that are busy, we’ve got students across all the construction trades that are starting and continuing City & Guilds qualifications and getting ready for their NVQs.
